Detours, Russian variations between fiction and reality

Detour is a reflection about physical and virtual space following the path of a drug courier across Moscow. Obkhodniye puti (aka Detours) is written and directed by Russian director Ekaterina Selenkina (former member of the cinema collective Bahía Colectiva) and is in competition at the International Critic’s Week. Drug dealing through Darknet and the physicality of the city continuously mix and cross, outlining a picture of the urban contemporary alienation and the urban Moscow geography. The short film in the competition Freikörperkultur by Alba Zari will be screened before the movie.
