Web technologies and e-learning are the fundamental tools of the new way of learning and be involved in a virtual community where it is possible to learn, work and develop the right skills. The teaching staff includes the best of Italian cinema. Remembering my personal experience in the Seventies, when I arrived in Rome to become an actor, struggling to support myself and finding courses that taught me how to make movies, I thought that after so many years is still not easy to find the opportunity to learn cinema directly from professionals. The idea of I-Talent Factory comes from here». «Web and cinema – said Danilo Iervolino – is the perfect marriage because the Internet is an explosive force in which new ideas about how to do business, communication, production and distribution can grow. Those able to think different will pick the opportunities of the digital revolution. This is the reason why we imagine with Valsecchi a cinema academy that prepares our students to future challenges». Courses will start in November and will be open for those over 18 with a high school degree. Teaching units are split into categories and disciplines with a range of 250 and 500 hours of lessons. The path of study (directing, screenwriting, production, management, acting, history of cinema and media, movie techniques) last one year and are interactive, there are recorded lessons but meeting with professionals. «Actors, directors, screenwriters, producers and other professionals explaining their ideas of cinema to young students are important – said Carlo VerdoneThis is the reason why I decided to join the project of Pietro Valsecchi». «This is a new tool – glosses Mario Sesti, curator and Content Director I-Talent Factory – and give the chance to everyone to know, learn and dream cinema».
