THE PALACE
Federica Di Giacomo is the director of Liberami (2016), interesting documentary about the modern practice of exorcism. Di Giacomo new project Il Palazzo is about the poignant portrait of a community of friends that, like a documentary version of The Big Chill, find themselves celebrating an old friend that passed away prematurely. He was the most emblematic member of their group. The story is set in a building in Rome, right behind the Vatican City. This building was given for free to this community from its owner, a kind of Reinassant patron. The community used the building to process excentric artistic projects. Mauro was a visionary director who never finished a single movie in his life. He directed his friends in the most extravagant roles and his death left an unfinished masterpiece to them.
