In competition: Piedra Noche (Dusk Stone)

Piedra Noche is a movie about the grieving process, female friendship as a solid base from starting over and magic realism to catalyze emotions that could overwhelm the protagonists of this story. Piedra Noche follows Sina on her trip to the coast with her friend Greta who needs help selling the summer house. Greta lost her only son in the sea in front of the house just a year before, she needs support. While they are preparing the place and right before handing over the key at the agency Bruno, Greta’s husband, says he has seen something that would confirm the presence of a strange creature that everyone in the village are speaking of. The movie talks about devotion, living together and acceptance to overcome suffering.
