The director of the documentary about the convicted boxer Benito Eufemia, Esquivar y pegar (2010) writes with Pere Altimira) the nightmare of sound designer C. (Marta Nieto). She’s a talented and passionate professional, recording studios are her shelters and the place where she can run from her broken relationships, with her ex-boyfriend, her colleagues, her mother. C. Spends hours editing and mixing, but when a couple of her works are not perfect as usual, her clients do not give her more projects, believing she’s psychologically unstable. C. understands that her mind processes sound out of sync and this gap becomes wider day after day. She must leave her job and reconsider her whole life.
