SENZA FINE
A 1940s style hotel in a timeless spa little town is the setting chosen by Fuksas for this film she wrote (with Monica Rametta) and directed to seek, as the director says, “the right distance to talk about Ornella Vanoni, not her life but her intimacy displayed». There’s the energy, the strength, the music, but also the whims of the diva that forces the troupe to stop several times. The director shoots everything sparing nothing not even discussions. The film takes off thanks to meetings with her friends, while Paolo Fresu’s trumpet resounds in the empty spaces of the large hotel. Day after day, marked by cures and treatments, the storytelling shapes as much as memories and future, transfiguring Ornella Vanoni into a fantastic creature, destined to eternity.
