This is how SIC’s Director Beatrice Fiorentino describes Philippe Petit’s Beating Sun (Tant que le soleil frappe). Fiorentino adds that this movie talks to us about «the dream to live together in an open space again». Max is an architect. He’s trying to get a project for a large urban green in the city centre of Marseille approved by the Town Hall. Petit directed short, medium-length movies and documentaries. He also played for directors such as Quentin Dupieux and Mia Hansen-Løve. The short film in the SIC@SIC competition today is Maria Guidone’s Albertine Where Are You?
