The 37th International Critic’s Week starts with Three Nights a Week (Trois nuits par semaine) Florent Gouëlou first feature, opening film out of competition. Paris, Baptiste, 29, is in a relationship with Samia, but things change when he meets Quentin, a.k.a. drag queen Cookie Kunty. He wants to develop a photographic project with her, but their relationship will go far beyond the professional plan. This queer romantic comedy is the first of many movies of SIC 2022 focusing on topics connected with LGBTQ+ universe and the «complexity of genre identity» in a context where «looks like the binary scheme male-female is completely overcome». Today also starts the short film competition SIC@SIC with Pinned Into a Dress by Guillaume Thomas and Gianluca Matarrese.
