Indie Jungle Fest arrives in Venice

Starting tonight, three free evenings of live music at the Lido airport with Fulminacci+Ditonellapiaga, Calibro 35 and La rappresente di Lista

Live music breaks into Lido for Venice Film Festival: from tonight to Wednesday, three concerts that will feature Fulminacci+Ditonellapiaga (tonight), Calibro 35 (tomorrow) and La rappresentante di Lista (on Wednesday 7). Sky Arte and Erma Pictures produced under the label Indie Jungle Fest, the TV program dedicated to the most representative artists of the indie scene, which after two successful editions is about to kick off the third round of events. The exceptional location hosting the three gigs is Giovanni Nicelli Airport, also known as Venice Lido Airport, Italy’s first civilian airport, which opened in 1926. Thanks to its historical features, architectural peculiarities and extraordinary degree of preservation of its air terminal, this airport is considered among the most beautiful airports in the world. The concerts will be free of charge, subject to availability. To ease the influx to the three shows, in addition to the usual ACTV lines from Lido S.M.E., an additional dedicated run will be available departing at 00:30 from the Lido S. Nicolò stop, with destination S. Zaccaria and Tronchetto. There will also be the possibility for passengers without reservations (no cars) to access the 00:50 ferry-boat Line 17 run from Lido S. Nicolò to Tronchetto. For the rides, users will need to have a regular ticket.
