Top of the festival? Dining at Borghese’s

There’s a new and much-coveted location at Venice Film Festival this year, even if it is not official. The restaurant, opened in June by Chef Alessandro Borghese, has immediately become one of the benchmarks of the guests of Venezia 79. AB is in Ca’ Vendramin Calergi, a historical building of the XVI Century that also houses the casinò. There’s also an entrance from the canal for those reaching the location by boat and a fantastic garden overlooking Canal Grande. This is why the original gastronomic creations by Alessandro Borghese and the classic “cicchetti veneziani” revised by the chef soon become the must for lunches, dinners and exclusive events for talents, creatives, top managers of the film industry arrived from all over the world. The design of AB follows the Venice tradition referring to Borghese’s restaurant in Milan’s city life. “Cooking is an act of love”, the chef loves to say, that has a strong connection with the world of entertainment thanks to his ten years of broadcasting experience.
