The seventeenth edition of Venice Days officially has its winners: The Whaler Boy, Philipp Yuryev‘s debut, wins the GdA Director’s Award. Premio del pubblico BNL-Gruppo BNP Paribas goes to another first feature, 200 Meters (by Ameen Nayfeh), on the odyssey of the Palestinian Mustafa to cross the wall that separates him from his family. Oasis (by Ivan Ikić), a drama set in a psychiatric institution, wins Europa Cinemas Label. The award ceremony took place at 6.30 pm at the Villa degli Autori, one of the key venues of an edition dedicated to the fruitful collaboration with Isola Edipo.
