John Lennon è stato ucciso con diversi colpi d’arma da fuoco l’8 dicembre 1980 da Mark David Chapman, che rimane ancora in carcere dopo ripetute richieste di libertà condizionale. Paul McCartney e Ringo Starr, ex Beatles, sono stati tra coloro che hanno ricordato il grande artista nel giorno del 40° anniversario della sua tragica morte.
