Si è tenuta ieri sera la cerimonia di premiazione dei SAG Awards 2023, riconoscimento assegnato annualmente dalla Screen Actors Guild per le migliori interpretazioni degli attori membri della stessa associazione, che ha visto trionfare Everything Everywhere All at Once con quattro premi: migliore attrice protagonista a Michelle Yeoh, miglior attrice non protagonista a Jamie Lee Curtis, miglior attore non protagonista a Ke Huy Quan e miglior cast. Dopo la vittoria ai PGA Awarsd e al DGA il film punta agli Oscar 2023 ed è sicuramente il favorito.

Brendan Fraser, già vincitore del Critics Choice Awards 2023, conquista il premio come miglior attore protagonista per la sua interpretazione in The Whale e si contenderà il 12 marzo l’Oscar contro Austin Butler (Elvis) che ha vinto il BAFTA e il Golden Globe come miglior attore in un film drammatico, e a Colin Farrell (Gli spiriti dell’Isola) che ha conquistato nel 2023 il Golden Globe come miglior attore in una commedia.
