The Last of Us e Scream VI conquistano i premi principali per l'edizione segnata dallo sciopero degli sceneggiatori

Un’edizione diversa quella degli MTV Movie & TV Awards di quest’anno, che ha causa del grande sciopero della Writers Guild of America attualmente in corso ha dovuto cambiare i piani a pochi giorni dall’evento. Niente premiazione in diretta, ma uno speciale pre-registrato per assegnare i premi più pop di cinema e televisione, in una maniera molto simile a quella vista per le edizioni andate in onda durante la pandemia.

Abbiamo valutato attentamente il modo migliore per offrire lo spettacolo di premiazione che avevamo immaginato e al quale il nostro team aveva lavorato duramente per creare”, ha dichiarato in un comunicato Bruce Gillmer, presidente del settore musica, talenti musicali, programmazione ed eventi di Paramount Global e produttore esecutivo degli MTV Movie & TV Awards. “Ci siamo allontanati da un evento in diretta per realizzare comunque  una serata memorabile piena di sneak peaks esclusivi, categorie irriverenti e innumerevoli momenti che sorprenderanno e delizieranno il pubblico nel rendere omaggio al meglio del cinema e della televisione dell’anno passato“.

E il meglio del cinema e della televisione ha visto trionfare quest’anno due titoli molto amati dal pubblico, The Last of Us per il piccolo schermo e Scream VI per il grande.
