Daniel Kwan e Daniel Scheinert, i registi di Everything Everywhere All At Once hanno vinto il premio come miglior regia ai DGA Awards 2023, il premio assegnato annualmente dalla Directors Guild of America, sindacato che rappresenta i registi statunitensi. Oltre ad essere uno dei più prestigiosi premi per i registi, è considerato come il più attendibile anticipatore della vittoria al premio Oscar. In 74 edizioni del premio (fino al 2022), solo in nove occasioni chi ha vinto il DGA non ha poi vinto il premio Oscar.

Il duo ha battuto la concorrenza dei lori Steven Spielberg e Todd Field, anch’essi nominati sia per i DGA Awards che agli Oscar rispettivamente con The Fabelmans e Tár.
