TIFF 2022 ha annunciato il suo programma per quanto riguarda le sezioni Gala e Special, e si tratta di una selezione sontuosa come quello di Venezia 79, con cui condivide anche non pochi titoli, e che come da tradizione alle anteprime mondiali, alcune di assoluto rilievo, propone al pubblico di Toronto anche il meglio del cinema passato nei festival del 2022.

Abbiamo già parlato dell’anteprima mondiale di The Fablesman, il nuovo film di Steven Spielberg di cui già si dicono meraviglie dopo la prima segretissima proiezione, c’è chi dice che sia uno dei migliori film di sempre del grande cineasta americano.

Ma non sarà l’unico autore atteso a Toronto. Sam Mendes, Sarah Polley, Ruben Östlund, Henry Selick, con il suo nuovo film che vi avevamo anticipato tempo fa.

E ancora Sebastian Lelio, Darren Aronofsky che arriverà subito dopo l’anteprima mondiale veneziana. E oltre ai registi anche le star, a partire da Jennifer Lawrence che torna sul grande schermo dopo la maternità. E poi Colin Firth, Jessie Buckley, Anya Taylor-Joy (Furiosa permettendo, l’attrice è nell’Outback australiano per girare il prequel di Fury Road).

C’è anche Il colibrì di Francesca Archibugi, ma non è improbabile che altri se ne aggiungano una volta annunciato il programma completo del festival.
