La stagione dei premi ha dato questa notte un nuovo riconoscimento a Emma Stone per La La Land: è il Screen Actors Guild – SAG Awards, il riconoscimento conferito dall’associazione del sindacato attori che premia le migliori performances non solo del cinema, ma anche delle serie tv. Tra i vincitori infatti ci sono anche il cast di Stranger Things e di Orange is the New Black, oltre a Denzel Washington miglior attore per Barriere e l’interpretazione “d’ensemble” delle tre protagoniste di Il diritto di contare. Fra gli sconfitti, invece, John Turturro per The Night of, Peter Dinklage Il trono di spade e Thandie Newton per Westworld.
