Nella notte tra lunedì e martedì si è svolta la 75ª edizione della cerimonia di premiazione dei Primetime Emmy Awards, assegnati dalla Television Academy alle serie e i protagonisti della stagione. A farla da padroni, Succession di Hbo, con 6 premi tra cui miglior serie drammatica e The Bear, miglior serie comica. Gli Emmy si celebrano quasi sempre a settembre, ma quest’anno sono stati rimandati per gli scioperi che hanno fermato Hollywood fino a novembre.
Successo anche per Beaf: la serie Netflix porta a casa il premio come miglior miniserie, mentre gli attori Yeun e Wong vincono nelle loro categorie: Yeun come miglior attore in una miniserie e Wong come migliore attrice in una miniserie.
