Fotinì Peluso, Fabrizio Moro and Alessio De Leonardis: the winners of the last edition of the Ciak d’oro for films and TV series are protagonists at the Venice Film Festival. They are part of “Improving Talent“, the project that our newspaper is carrying out with Mastercard. Venice 80 is the occasion for completing the path that Mastercard and Ciak have undertaken together in recent months for the enhancement of emerging talent. Sponsor of the last edition of the Ciak d’Oro and Ciak d’oro TV Series (the two awards received more than 900 thousand votes!) and main sponsor of the Venice Film Festival, Mastercard offered the winners of the two awards the opportunity to experience the emotions of the great Venetian event, living as protagonists the reality of the festival and its magic. Director and screenwriter Alessio De Leonardis and musician, singer and director Fabrizio Moro, star of Italian pop, won the Audience Ciak d’oro Award for Best Directorial Debut for Ghiaccio, coming of age and redemption movie interpreted by Vinicio Marchioni and Giacomo Ferrara.
Ciak d’oro TV Series is represented by Fotinì Peluso, the female lead in Tutto chiede salvezza, the Netflix series written and directed by Francesco Bruni that won the Ciak d’oro as Series of the Year. For Peluso, one of the rising stars of Italian cinema also thanks to her intense performance in Francesca Archibugi’s Il colibrì, the Ciak d’oro Serie Tv was followed by other career-defining affirmations, such as the Nastro d’argento she won for her performance in the same series.
Last night, the three talents were also among the protagonists of the Amfair party, the super-exclusive charity gala dinner, whose proceeds go to research for the cure against AIDS, for years one of the most glamorous events of the festival and this time scheduled on the Island of Misericordia. Today, their “Experience” continues between interviews and films to be enjoyed in the theatres of the Mostra.
