Presentation of book L’Ammazzaflim – Scontro Finale by Stefano Disegni
It was an exhilarating presentation hosted yesterday at the House of Authors. Stefano Disegni spoke about L’Ammazzaflim – Scontro Finale, the third volume of the trilogy published by Gallucci. Host Giorgio Gosetti prompted Stefano Disegni’s irreverent humor as he talked about how he selects movies to slaughter with his strips. The 91-page volume also contains a ” revenge vignette ” drawn by Paolo Virzì and a strip quiz on a film to be guessed.
A fund for authors and the Apulian territory
A fund for authors and the Apulian territory 200,000 euros is the total amount of the Apulia Development Film Fund, the Apulia Film Commission’s public notice discussed at the Venice Film Festival, where the regional institution brought the movies Comandante (in competition) and L’invenzione della neve (Notti Veneziane). The fund is aimed at micro, small and medium-sized enterprises to support the development and pre-production phase of feature films, TV series, documentaries, and animation works enhancing Puglia’s locations. Candidate projects must meet at least one of these requirements: being set entirely or predominantly in Puglia; being written by an Apulian author or writer, and being an adaptation from a literary work written by an Apulian author or writer. One project from each category will also be eligible to participate in the next edition of the Apulia Film Forum, dedicated to co-productions.
The Call for Productions 2023-The opportunities for cinema and audiovisual in Calabria: the public notice has a budget of 5 million euros for the films/length films, dramas and short films. Specifically for the category film/length fiction and television series, there are two different allocations: 500 thousand euros and 300 thousand euros. The notice is published on the Calabria Film Commission Foundation’s institutional website. “We intend to reward projects that enhance our territory,” stresses director Luciano Vigna. But there will be obligations for those who produce.”
