In october comes The World of Tim Burton

In Venice 80, the center of Italian cinema these days, new details were learned about the great exhibition dedicated to Tim Burton which will open on October 10 at the Turin Cinema Museum. “It will also contain, in a world preview for our Museum, 15 drawings made by the great director to create Wednesday, the series of records”, revealed the director of the Cinema Museum, Domenico De Gaetano. The exhibition will be on display at the Mole Antonelliana until 7 April 2024 and offers a journey into Tim Burton’s visionary universe and creativity, built also thanks to the director’s personal archive. During the days of the Exhibition, Burton will also be the protagonist of a Masterclass and will receive the Stella della Mole award in recognition of his visionary and innovative contribution. “Hosting Tim Burton in Turin is a dream come true – De Gaetano continued – and Wednesday’s worldwide success confirmed the rightness of our choice, naturally taken in concert with the president of the Cinema Museum, Enzo Ghigo” The exhibition will represent a sort of prize for the Museum’s audience, returning from a season beyond all expectations: “The 2023 visitor data – underlines De Gaetano – are higher than 2019, considered the golden year of cinema and museums Evidently we managed to realize our idea of ​​a museum that evolves and renews itself”.
